2014 - The Process Begins

Welcome back!

We've officially started the planning process for the 2014 At-Home Conference, and I'm pretty excited about some changes this year. A lot of things will stay the same, but there are a few minor tweaks that I hope will make the experience more enjoyable for everyone.

First, here's what's the same:
1. The conference will coincide with the ACFW Annual Conference, Sept, 25-27, 2014. (For more info on the conference in St. Louis, click here.)
2. Attendees will receive the lessons via email.
3. We will have a variety of classes presented by a variety of ACFW members - pre-published, newly published, multi-published (and hopefully some agents and editors too).

Next, here are a few minor changes:
1. The At-Home Conference will only send lessons on Sept. 25, 26, and 27 (in the past it was a four-day event).
2. We are capping the number of lessons to 3-5 lessons per day.

And now our big addition:
This year we'll be adding a Facebook group. The number one suggestion (and often complaint) is that the At-Home Conference doesn't allow people to interact. This year we're going to open a private Facebook group to give people a chance to connect. Our hope is that most of our presenters will also join and be available for questions and interaction. The group will be available after we start taking registrations.

I think that's it for now. As always, check here for updates and information.

Have a great spring!

Sincerely,
Karin Beery and Tiff Colter
