2013 Conference - Something for Everyone

We're just a few days away from this year's conference - can you believe it? I think this is the seventh year for the conference, but it never gets stale. With the variety of teachers, lessons, and participants, there's always something fresh for everyone.

The first time I hosted this conference I received an email from an author who wanted to donate a book as a giveaway for our attendees. Every year since then authors have generously gifted us with books, services, and other fun freebies to give to the At-Home attendees. This year is no different.

I'm excited to announce that I have a variety of donated books and gifts to giveaway this year. Items were donated by some amazing, supportive ACFW members, including:

Jeannie Campbell
Deborah Raney
Peg Phifer
Linda Glaz
Allie Plieter
Diane Dean White and more ...

These gift and book winners will be randomly selected at the end of the conference, but everyone will receive something special this year. Ben Wolf, Executive Director of Splickety Magazine, is giving each attendee a free, one-year, online subscription to the flash-fiction magazine. I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness in donating such wonderful gifts.

This is going to be another great year - thanks for joining us!

Countdown to 2013: 37 Days

Welcome back to the At-Home Conference blog. We're on the ball this year, already getting things organized and ready to go for the September 13-15 on-line conference. If you're joining us this year, thank you! We're excited for the opportunity to provide a free, on-line alternative to the American Christian Fiction Writer's Conference.

We've been hard at work updating the blog with the 2013 information. If you haven't looked around yet, we encourage you to do so. We have a new group of teachers, new classes, and, of course, a great new writing challenge.

Thanks again for joining us - here's to a great conference!
