Putting it together...

Things are coming together nicely for this year's At-Home Conference. We've already confirmed 11 presenters/teachers with some great new material. This year you can expect:

-Most Common Plot Problems Editors See
-Writing a Query Letter
-Brainstorming
-The Over 50 Writer
And more...

I still have at least five slots open for teachers, so please contact me if you're interested in hosting a class. I'm also always willing to giveaway books/critiques/round trip vacations to Hawaii from anyone who'd like to donate something.

Later next week I'll have more details on how we're going to present this year's conference. It will be a bit different than last year (which was different from the year before), so even if you've participated in the At-Home Conference, the 2012 event will be fresh and new for everyone!

Thanks for your interest - contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Prepare the Countdown

Can you believe it? In just over a month it will be time to share another conference together! If you can make it to Dallas, I encourage you to go to register now. You won't regret it!

If you're like me, however, you'll be at home September 20-23. If you are, then I invite you to join us again for another At-Home Conference. I'm still putting together the details, but I promise you it will be fun! There will be classes, exercises, probably a couple of giveaways, and you can watch the ACFW award ceremony LIVE via their website.

As I work on getting the details together, feel free to look back over what we did last year. If you want to learn even more, you can order the CDs from last year's ACFW conference in St. Louis (just go here).

If you're interested in learning more about the conference (or if you'd like to teach a class), please contact me at karin(at)karinbeery(dot)com.

Here's to another great conference!
